Seminar Information:

In this seminar Andrew will discuss and describe emotional regulation and Anxiety and how these factors affect students with ADHD, learning difficulties, ODD and other developmental disorders.

Specific practical strategies to help reduce anxiety and assist students with self-regulation of emotions will be discussed. Andrew will outline steps involved in modulating and changing one's primary emotional response and will include some research key findings in relation to emotional dysregulation/anxiety and ADHD. There will be a focus on practical strategies and specific tools such as using an emotional tracker, mindfulness, brain dumping, anger/frustration reducing techniques to assist with these processes. There will be time for questions during and at the end of the seminar.
