Update on COVID-19 - We are still consulting

As things are changing so rapidly on a day to day basis regarding consultations and assessments, we wanted to give you some updated information on our practice as it stands today.

We have been offering and will continue to offer the following services:

  • Telehealth consultations via a telehealth platform such as Zoom or Coviu (a specific platform used by psychologists)

  • Some assessments will be available via telehealth towards the end of next week (i.e. 10 April 2020). Assessment will include testing for ADHD, Learning Difficulties, psychometric/cognitive assessments etc using WISC-V, WIAT-III, WRMT-3, WAIS-IV and others.

Some consultations may still be able to be claimed via your private health fund (no referral required). If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist referral, you will be able to claim the consult through Medicare. In these situations part of the sessions will be bulk billed and a small co-payment may be charged.

As previously referred to, some issues requiring counselling include anxiety, parenting strategies, home schooling challenges, social isolation difficulties, issues relating to germ phobia, parenting behaviour management strategies, etc.
