REFERRAL

No Doctor's referral is required for psychological services (except for claiming through MedicarePlus programme – see Rebates)

APPOINTMENT TIMES

REBATES/PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE/MEDICARE

If you are insured with a private health fund, you are entitled to certain rebates. This rebate depends on your level of cover and your individual fund. Please contact your fund for more information. Andrew Greenfield is registered with over 20 health funds in NSW.

In some cases, rebates are available through Medicare under the Chronic Disease Management initiative - Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC) or the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative - Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). The item number for the EPC is 10968. The item number for the MHCP is 80110 for consultations in Andrew's rooms. 

Patients/clients who have been identified by their GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist as having a complex chronic condition, with psychological and/or behavioural features, and for whom their GP devises a patient care plan, can claim back through Medicare. 

In some cases, referrals can be made via your Paediatrician or Psychiatrist in order to claim on the consultation component of the assessment. 

FEES  

Fees depend on the components of the assessment, ie Psychological Assessment, Educational Assessment or Counselling. Please contact Andrew for more information regarding specific fees. Please note that Payment is due on the day of the appointment either by Cash or cheque only. Fees may vary without notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations require 24 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation fee will apply.
